KMCT CON’s World Breast Feeding Week 2019

A slew of programmes marked World Breast Feeding Week 2019 organized by KMCT College of Nursing, Manassery. The intention was to make awareness about the importance of breast feeding. By lighting the lamp, Prof. R Mageswari [Principal- KMCT College of Nursing] officially inaugurated the programme on 6th August, 2019.  Prof. R Mageswari spoke on this year’s theme- “Empower Parents, Enable Breastfeeding.” Mrs. Jesna [Vice Principal- KMCT College of Nursing], Mrs. Steffy John [Asso. Professor -KMCT College of Nursing], Mrs. Rakhi Seban [Asso. Professor- KMCT College of Nursing], Mrs. Steffy John [Associate Professor- KMCT College of Nursing], Mr. Raldin [Asst. Professor- KMCT college of Nursing], and Mrs. Reshma [Lecturer – KMCT college of Nursing] were also present on the occasion. Awareness classes were also held. Mrs. Rakhi Seban and Mrs. Reshma took the classes. The mime show performed by third year students on “importance of breastfeeding “stolen the hearts of the spectators. A quiz competition was also conducted in connection with World Breast Feeding Week 2019. Mrs. Steffy John  [Associate Professor- KMCT College of Nursing] conducted the quiz. She conducted the quiz in a very interactive way and the teams participated with zest. Mr. Raldin distributed prizes to the winners.
